Encore Pianos wants to provide each and every customer the very best of piano shopping experience. Shopping for a piano is difficult for most people as they have never shopped for a piano before. Also pianos are very complex machines and they can vary greatly in many qualities. Some of the qualities are easy to see buy most are not easy to see. Pianos are fine musical instruments and as with any musical instrument, the sound and playability can vary widely from piano to piano.
The problems of shopping for a piano can be greatly compounded as so many stores stoop to very low levels of ethics and honesty. While most people can tell when a car salesman is lying or being less than trustworthy, it is much harder for most people to know when a piano salesman is being dishonest, misleading, or purely self serving.
1) We will be completely truthful about piano brands, those which we sell and those which we do not. We will always tell you where pianos are built, what quality they are made to, how old the piano is, and all other important information.
2) We will always give the customer an outstanding price. Every piano has a clearly marked discount price. When pianos are on special sale, this will be clearly marked and pianos will not be marked up to unreal prices, just to have them marked down to appear to be a better deal. Neither will be advertise misleading sales just to get people in the store and try to get them to make a spur of the moment buying decision.
3) All of our salesperson are professional piano salespersons who are are very knowledgeable about pianos and how to guide a person or family to chose the right piano for their needs and desires.
4) Our salespersons will never use high pressure and dishonest sales techniques. There are of course many of these, such as offering a special price which must be agreed to by the store owner or some bank. A bogus call is then made and a new offer is put forth. Another technique is to find out how much a person can afford in price or payments and then the price is changed to match the most that a person is willing to pay. Another is to have poor instruments on the sales floor of competitors brands, so as to make in stock brands appear to be better than they really are.
5)
We will never misrepresent competitors brands or pianos just to try and made a quick sale.
6) We will always strive to put the customer first. We will try very hard to help the customer find the right piano for their needs, desires, and finances. We believe in the highest quality of service before the sale.
