The Second Lecture of :The History Of the Piano by Dr. Lonnie Shipman. Dr. Shipman will be just back from a concert tour in Europe. He will be presenting at 11:00 AM in our recital hall, Thursday March 1. The lecture will be multimedia. It will contain a lecture, slides and playing.

March 1

Ang Li, the international piano soloist, will present her second concert in our Recital hall. It will be Sunday at 5:30 PM. Last month she preformed as soloist with the Ft Worth Symphony. She has performed all over the world and we are very honored to have her at this free concert. RSVP requested. Her concert will be a full concert with pieces by Bach, Beethoven, Hyden, Liszt, and Rachmaninoff.

JAN 19 Piano Concert Series Starts Jan 19, Monday at 7:00 PM

International Concert artist Ang Li will present an evening in Concert. She has just returned from an European concert series.

Ang Li is already on the road to a flourishing career having appeared as soloist with the Montréal Symphony Orchestra, the Staten Island Symphony, the Lanaudière Festival Orchestra, the China National Symphony Orchestra and the Beijing Symphony Orchestra. 

JAN 22 Piano Lecture Series Starts Jan 22

Dr. Lonnie Shipman will begin a lecture series about the history of the piano, and several other piano related topics for anybody interested in pianos. This will be great for teachers or piano students or people who play. It will be at 11:00 AM in our store recital area.

Oct 31 New Web Site Will Feature Teachers, Techs, and Music School Info

Our New site, in a few weeks, will have listings for the whole piano community. Our web site, Encore-Pianos.com, will feature many searchable listings to help the community find the teacher, tech, tuner, music school, or piano competition that they would like. We also expect to be selling CDs, and sheet music from area pianists. Or if you need a pianist to perform at an event, then our site will be the place to come to find the pianist.

Oct 23 Bluthner, Haessler, Irmler Lines ordered

Encore Pianos has ordered pianos from the famous German Company which makes some of the very finest pianos in the world. The company makes pianos in the very highest artist performance level under the Bluthner and Haessler lines. These brands are made to have different tonal colors from each other to suit different piano performance tastes. The Irmler line is made to be very good pianos which are made in Korea and finished in Germany to a very high level. (Bluthner pianos have arrived, Irmlers will arrive shortly.)

A Section of our new piano store has gifts from Europe. We have very beautiful figurines from the maker of handmade expert crafted figures, Nadal of Spain. We have hand made and hand blown decorative glass items from of the Czech Republic these are made by Ruckl and Egermann. And we have true hand cut leaded glass from of the Czech Republic made by Ruckl.
